Covering an area of 262 sq. km., this luxuriant park is home to more than 300 bird species and nearly 2,000 species of ferns and flowering plants.

 

Most tourists visiting Chiang Mai often go to doi suthep which is a part of Doi Suthep-Pui national park. Doi Suthep-Pui National Park covers the areas of Amphur Mae Rim, Amphur Hang Dong, and Amphur Mueang in Chiang Mai. The national park contains Doi Suthep, Doi Buak Ha, and Doi Pui which are sources of rivers and share many tourist attractions. Chiang Mai’s Attractions Wat Phra That Doi Suthep : one of the north’s most sacred temples in Chiang Mai for many years. Phra Tamnak Phu Phing : a palace located in Doi Buak Ha that is 4-km beyond Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Visitors can go sightseeing gardens and flowers like roses around the palace. Nam Tok Huay Kaew : the waterfall holds water year-round. Visitors can go tracking or birdwatching among green circumstances. Doi Pui : a Hmong hill-tribe village and beautiful flowers always welcome the visitors. There are also Hmong crafts and souvenirs for selling.
